A total of 183 people from various backgrounds and age groups participated in the survey. (All data collected is authentic and from sources which can be proven)[1]. These statistics clearly show the increasing demand for green marketing in the corporate sector as more and more people are being aware of Environmental changes.

First thing first, what is Green Marketing? -Green marketing refers to the retailing of products which are environment friendly and more sustainable.
Green marketing includes several different things like the production of environment-friendly products, using green packaging that is either biodegradable or using reusable packaging, utilizing sustainable and green manufacturing ways to produce products, or promoting green benefits of a specific product.
Business owners can contribute to sustainability not only by making eco-friendly products, but they can also adopt specific marketing strategies. For example, they can use biodegradable bags for packaging and can use eco-friendly ink and recycled paper for marketing purposes. Entrepreneurs can recycle their waste material or reduce it to some extent that it is less harmful to the environment. They can reduce carbon footprint by using efficient packaging and shipping ways.

Also, devise systems can be built in such a way that business-owners can reuse the packaging. In this way, the carbon footprint will be reduced to some extent. They can also utilize plant-based plastics or biodegradable substances for packaging. They can optimize the packaging in a way that there is less material used in the manufacturing process. No matter how little the effort is, every action counts. They can also use renewable power sources by utilizing solar energy, wind energy, etc. They can take various steps to minimize the substances which are harming the environment in some way.
How a product is formed is also really crucial? Companies need to make sure they use green manufacturing techniques[2] and designed products sustainably.
There are numerous benefits of green marketing and eco-friendly products. However, eco-friendly products are expensive to some extent. But it can generate more revenues in the long run, and it is more profitable and more demanding by the customers. For some consumers, the environmental benefits and impact simply outweigh the price difference.
The thing that stands as a hurdle between green business practices is that going green and making eco-friendly products do cost more upfront, but it has long term rewards.

While promoting green marketing, companies need to make sure that they stand by their claims. They should uphold the authenticity.
Deceiving people in green products is termed Greenwashing [3], and this is something that companies should keep in mind. It can have a devastating impact on the reputation of the company. Companies need to be very vigilant and should mention how and in what way their product is eco-friendly.
Green Marketing can play a significant role in promoting eco-friendly products and green manufacturing for a sustainable future. Green Marketing can help us combat climate change. We have to start somewhere.
Every individual needs to play its part in creating a difference for a sustainable future. If you are a business owner, maybe your growth begins with green marketing!
